Eligibility Criteria Assistant Fireman
Education Qualification
Must have passed SSC.
- A maximum of 100 marks will be counted for the SSC examination. The marks will be calculated based on the percentage obtained by the candidate in the SSC exam. (For example, if a candidate has obtained 65% marks in the SSC board examination, then 65 marks will be counted.)
- Candidates who have passed HSC (10 + 2) examination will be given an additional 25 marks.
- Degree / Diploma in Engineering
(a) Candidates having Automobile, Mechanical, and Electrical qualifications will be given an additional 50 marks.
(b) Candidates having engineering qualifications other than the above will be given an additional 40 marks.
(Candidates having the diploma mentioned in point 3(a), if they are HSC pass, will not be given the 25 marks of HSC.) - (a) Candidates who have passed the Fire Fighting Elementary Course of AMC Fire Department will be given 25 marks.
(b) Candidates who have passed Fire Fighting Certificate Course from a government-recognized institute will be given 25 marks.
(c) Candidates who have passed ITI Fireman Course will be given 50 marks.
(d) Candidates who have completed Diploma in Fire Technology will be given 75 marks.
(e) Candidates who have completed Degree in Fire will be given 100 marks. - Candidates who have passed NCC A certificate will be given 10 marks, NCC B certificate holders will be given 15 marks, and NCC C certificate holders will be given 25 marks. For counting marks, only one highest NCC certificate will be considered.
- Candidates who have passed Basic Computer Course MS Office / CCC will be given 10 marks.
