GSSSB Municipal Engineer Vacancy 2026
A total of 50 vacancies have been announced for the post of Municipal Engineer, Class-3. The vacancies are distributed among various reservation categories as per Gujarat Government rules. Women reservation and Ex-Servicemen reservation are also applicable according to the notification.

Educational Qualification
Applicants should possess Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or Institution. Basic knowledge of Computer Applications. Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or Both.
The notification also recognizes several equivalent Civil Engineering specializations specified by the Government.
Age Limit
As on 10 August 2026 Minimum Age: 18 Years, Maximum Age: 35 Years. Age relaxation is available for reserved categories, women, persons with disabilities, and ex-servicemen as per Gujarat Government rules.
Salary
Selected candidates will receive Fixed Pay: ₹49,600 per month for the first five years. After successful completion of five years, candidates may be appointed in the regular Level-7 Pay Matrix (₹39,900 – ₹1,26,600) subject to applicable government rules.
