Educational Qualification
Applicants must have passed Class 9th or possess a higher educational qualification from a recognized board or institution.
Age Limit
Candidates must be between Minimum Age: 18 Years, Maximum Age: 40 Years.
Physical Eligibility
Eligible male candidates must fulfill the following physical standards:

Residence Eligibility
Candidates must be permanent residents of the respective police station jurisdiction. Applicants for the Traffic Branch should belong to the areas covered by Division-A, Division-B, Himmatnagar Rural, or Gambhoi Police Stations. Residence proof may be submitted using Aadhaar Card, Election (Voter) Card, Ration Card (Bhadakarar and Affidavits will not be accepted as proof of residence).
Preference Will Be Given To
Candidates possessing any of the following qualifications will receive preference NCC Certificate, NSS Certificate, Raksha Shakti University or State and District Level Sport Level Certificate. Better Physical Fitness, Strong Body Structure.
Selection Process for Sabarkantha Traffic Brigade Recruitment 2026
The recruitment process consists of three stages.
Physical Test
Candidates must complete 800-Meter Running Test, Time Limit: 4 Minutes.
Written Examination

Oral Interview
Total Marks: 20
The final merit list will be prepared based on the overall performance in all stages.
Training
Selected candidates will undergo basic traffic management training at the Himmatnagar Police Headquarters. Important: No honorarium or salary will be paid during the training period.
