BKNMU Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Librarian
Candidates applying for the Librarian post should have a Master’s Degree in Library Science, Information Science or Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
The notification also requires relevant experience, including at least 10 years as a Librarian in a University Library, or 10 years of teaching as Assistant/Associate Professor in Library Science, or 10 years’ experience as a College Librarian. A Ph.D. in the relevant field and evidence of innovative library services including ICT integration are also prescribed. The maximum age is 57 years, with applicable relaxations.
Internal Audit Officer
Candidates should possess either a CA/equivalent degree or M.Com with 55% marks in Advanced Accountancy/Auditing, along with the prescribed five years’ relevant experience and basic computer knowledge certificate. The maximum age is 45 years.
Assistant Engineer – Electrical
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with two years of relevant post-qualification experience, or a Diploma in Electrical Engineering with five years of relevant experience. A basic computer knowledge certificate is also required. The maximum age is 40 years.
Assistant Civil Engineer
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with two years of relevant post-qualification experience, or a Diploma in Civil Engineering with five years of relevant experience. Basic computer knowledge is also required. The maximum age is 40 years.
Lab Assistant – Chemistry
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a related subject, along with at least three years of laboratory experience in Chemistry after graduation and a basic computer knowledge certificate. The maximum age is 40 years.
Assistant Registrar
Candidates should have a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade along with a certificate of basic knowledge of computer applications. The maximum age is 40 years.
Store Keeper
The Store Keeper post is reserved for PwBD (Lv) candidates. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification, three years’ experience in procurement and maintenance of stores, and the prescribed computer knowledge certificate. The maximum age is 40 years.
Application Fee
The prescribed application fee is General/Unreserved: ₹1,500, SC/ST/SEBC/EWS: ₹750, PwBD: Exempted subject to submission of a valid eligible disability certificate. The fee is payable online and is non-refundable.
