ONGC has announced a total of 3,047 tentative apprenticeship vacancies across its operational locations. The vacancies are distributed among different sectors and work centres, including Northern, Mumbai, Western, Eastern, Southern and Central sectors.

Candidates must possess the essential minimum qualification specified for the relevant trade. ITI certificates must be from institutions recognised by the relevant State Board of Technical Education or NCVT.
ONGC Apprentice Age Limit 2026
The minimum age limit is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 24 years as on 29 November 2026. i.e. the Date of Birth of the Candidate/Applicant should be between 29.11.2002 and 29.11.2008. Age Relaxation as per rules.
ONGC Apprentice Salary / Monthly Stipend 2026
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend during the apprenticeship training period as prescribed in the notification.

ONGC Apprentice Training Duration
The apprenticeship training duration will be 12 months for all notified trades and disciplines.
Candidates should note that apprenticeship engagement is for training purposes. It does not provide any right to regular employment in ONGC during or after the completion of training.
