Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology in Civil or Architecture or Planning obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared as deemed to be University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act 1956;
- possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat civil services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967; and
- possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
Age Limit (As on 11/08/2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 35 years
- Age relaxation applicable as per category as per government rules.
Planning Assistant Salary
- Fixed Pay: Rs. 49,600/- for the first 5 years
- After 5 years: Rs. 44,900 – Rs. 1,42,400 (Level 8 Pay Matrix), subject to satisfactory performance.

- Negative Marking: 0.25 mark per wrong answer
