Gujarat Budget 2022 : The budget session of Gujarat has started from March 2. On the first day, the Governor’s address was discussed in the House. The state government’s budget will be presented on Thursday. The four-day budget issue will be discussed. There will be a total budget session of 22 days.

Two Agriculture and Revenue Department Amendment Bills will be passed in this budget session. As well as government bills will be debated in the House for 4 days. This will be the first budget for Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Finance Minister Kanu Desai while Sukhram Rathwa will also be the first budget as Leader of the Opposition. The budget session will end on March 31.
Gujarat Budget 2022-23

In the Rupani government, the then Finance Minister Nitin Patel presented the largest budget of Rs 2,27,029 crore in the history of Gujarat in the year 2021.
History Of Gujarat Budget
The first budget of the state of Gujarat was presented on 22nd September 1960. The size of the first budget of the state is Rs. 114.92 crore. After the secession of Gujarat from Maharashtra, the first Chief Minister of Gujarat, Jivraj Mehta, presented the state budget. The first budget was presented from the Provisional Assembly Ahmedabad. In which revenue income was around 54 crore 25 lakhs and expenditure was close to 58 crore 12 lakhs. Thus the food in the budget was Rs 3 crore 87 lakh. According to the information received, every penny in the budget was calculated in the budget.
