Education Qualification
The candidate must hold a B.Tech. / M.Tech. degree in Biomedical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering, or related fields, from recognized institutions / universities with good academic track record. The candidate must have basic experience in programming and data analysis is in MATLAB.
Job Description
A Project Research Scientist-I position is available in the MUSE Lab at IIT Gandhinagar on a project funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). Specifically, the Project Research Scientist-I will perform biomedical research focused on ultrasound therapy and imaging for tissue characterization. The position will provide opportunities to work both independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team of biomedical engineers and biologists. The applicant must be self-motivated, independent, and deeply interested in biomedical research. The fellow will receive extensive training and mentorship in biomedical ultrasound research methods and scientific communication, along with career guidance. IIT Gandhinagar provides a vibrant academic atmosphere and opportunities for interdisciplinary research collaborations.
Pay Scale
INR 56,000 per month (+ 9% HRA if not availing on-campus accommodation) as per ICMR norms
