Stipend
Rate of stipend payable to apprentices per month shall be as prescribed under Apprentices Act, 1961/1973, Apprentices Rules 1992/2019 as amended from time to time.
For Graduate and Technician Apprentice, the stipend will be paid in two parts, 50% ( of the stipulated stipend) shall be paid by the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) and the remaining 50% , plus an additional Rs.2500/- by Indian Oil Corporation .It is essential that the candidates have an Aadhaar seeded bank account that is enabled for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) for receiving the Government’s share of stipend from BOAT.
Selection Process
Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on the merit list formed on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in the essential qualification applicable to the respective trade. There will be NO written test or interview. In case of two or more applicants have secured same marks, the applicant older in age amongst them( as per DOB in Xth marksheet) shall be considered first. Candidates registered on NAPS/NATS portal, and applying against the notification shall be considered for selection.
