PNB Apprentice Vacancy 2026
Punjab National Bank (PNB) has officially released the PNB Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Notification for the engagement of 5138 Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The recruitment drive is open to graduate candidates across India who are looking to gain hands-on banking experience through a one-year apprenticeship program. The online application process will be conducted through the BFSI SSC portal, and selection will be based on an online written examination followed by document verification and language proficiency test.

Education Qualification
Graduate degree in any discipline from any Institute/ College/ University recognized/ approved by Govt. bodies/ AICTE/ UGC. The result of the qualification must have been declared on or before 31.12.2025 and candidate must produce Mark Sheets and Provisional/ Degree Certificate issued from the University/ College/ Institute as and when required by the Bank.
For the candidates registered under National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS), the date of passing their Graduation should not be more than 4 years preceding to the cut-off date i.e. 01.01.2026
The candidates applying for training seats of a particular State/ UT, should be proficient (reading,
writing, speaking and understanding) in local language of that State/UT.
Stipend / Benefit
The engaged apprentices are eligible for following stipend per month for the contract period of one year.

The apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances/ benefits. The Stipend will be paid to apprentices on completion of each month after adjusting un-authorized absence, if any.
Age Limit
Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on 01.01.2026 i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1998 and not later than 01.01.2006. Maximum age indicated is for Unreserved and EWS candidates. Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per Government of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates but not exceeding age of 34 years as on 01.01.2026 for applicants under NAPS. Duration of Apprenticeship Training
Total Duration of training will be of one year (i.e. 12 months) from the date of contract. The one-year training will include 2 weeks’ Basic Training and 50 weeks’ On-the-Job Training
