Traffic Brigade Selection process

• A Merit List will be prepared based on the Written Test, Physical Test and Interview (as per rules).
• The Policies and rules of the trust will have to be followed.
• A final merit list will be prepared for candidates who successfully pass all the above-mentioned tests and assessments.

How to Apply Ahmedabad Traffic Brigade Recruitment 2026

Applicants can obtain the application form from all Police Stations, the District Police Control Room, or the District Traffic Branch under the jurisdiction of Ahmedabad Rural District from 15 June 2026 onwards. Candidates must submit the completed application form to the same Police Station or branch from where they obtained it on or before 25 June 2026. Alternatively, the application form can also be downloaded from the official Ahmedabad Rural Police website at https://spahmedabad.gujarat.gov.in through the link available on the homepage. Candidates are advised to carefully fill out the form and submit it within the prescribed deadline.

Candidates appearing for application submission must bring self-attested copies of all required documents along with the original documents for verification. Applicants should also provide valid proof of residence as prescribed in the notification. Failure to produce the necessary documents or residence proof may result in the rejection of the application during the verification process.

• Standard 9 Pass Certificate or any higher educational qualification certificate from a recognized board/institution. School Leaving Certificate (SLC) / Transfer Certificate as proof of date of birth and educational record.
• Aadhaar Card, Birth Certificate, Voter ID Card (Election Card), Ration Card, Domicile Certificate. Note : Candidates must submit any two documents from the above list as proof of residence, as specified in the notification. Original documents should also be produced for verification at the time of application submission.
• Two recent passport-size photographs
