GCAS Registration Portal 2024 : Gujarat Common Admission Services (GCAS) is a visionary portal launched by the Department of Education, Government of Gujarat to streamline the admission registration process across various disciplines offered by the Government Universities within the state of Gujarat. This portal serves as the State Government’s Common Admission portal encompassing all the disciplines such as arts, commerce, science, rural studies, and others under a single umbrella.

GCAS is a one-stop solution for all Government Universities, Higher Education Institutes, Government Colleges, Grant-In-Aid Colleges, and SFIs affiliated with Public Universities across the state of Gujarat. This comprehensive portal is strategically crafted to simplify the admission procedure, consolidating all requisite information and services to facilitate a seamless experience for the students of Gujarat.

It will be easier for the students to get information related to the courses available, as well as the information of the Colleges/ Universities offering the said courses. A unified time frame for students to apply for admission into any University or Course across the state. A significant reduction in the time & effort required for admission into diverse courses within the state.
With GCAS, the candidate can apply for unlimited Universities, Colleges, and Courses with a one-time fee payment. The Candidates will no longer be required to apply to at each University/ College separately. Now, they can apply to multiple Universities through the Common admission process for their respective courses.
GCAS Registration Process
- Visit the GCAS website.
- Look for an “Apply Now” option or register through the online registration link : http://gcas.gujgov.edu.in/
- Online registration form filling with the required personal details
- Review & final submission
- An OTP will arrive at the registered Email ID and Contact Number.
- ID Creation of the User
- The Username and Password will be sent to the relevant Email ID and Contact Number.
- The student needs to immediately change the password post registration.
