The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has officially released the List of Eligible Candidates for the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination 2026 under Advertisement No. 5/2026-27. Important Notes Released by GPSC
According to the official notification GPSC Prelims Result 2026:
- The Preliminary Examination was conducted on 07 June 2026.
- 11 questions in the General Studies paper were cancelled.
- Marks of the cancelled questions were distributed proportionately among the remaining questions.
- Evaluation was carried out by treating each valid question as 1.058 marks, while 0.317 marks were deducted for every incorrect, multiple encoded, or blank response.
- Widow candidates received applicable bonus marks as per Government rules wherever eligible.
