Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- possess a bachelor’s degree obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.

Age Limit
- Not be more than 42 years.
- Maximum age limit and relaxations will be applicable as per Government of Gujarat rules.
Salary
- Pay Matrix Level-8
- Salary Range: ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400/- per month
Application Fees
Candidates of General (Unreserved) category have to pay Rs. 100/-+applicable postal charges or Rs. 100/- + Service Charges through online mode as Application Fees. While Candidates belonging to reserved categories and Economically Weaker Section of Unreserved category of Gujarat State, Ex-Servicemen and physically disabled candidates have not to pay application fees. While candidates of reserved category of other states have to pay application fee.
Exam Pattern
Candidates will be selected for appointment to these posts by conducting a Preliminary test and interview. Candidates will be declared eligible for the interview after scrutinizing the required
applications as per the Preliminary test marks. If the candidate gets less than 15% marks in the
Preliminary test, he/she will not be considered eligible for interview. The medium of this test will be
decided by the Commission. The Preliminary test will usually be held at Gandhinagar/ Ahmedabad and candidates will have to be present at their own expense. The Preliminary test will consist of 100 questions of 100 marks(60 minutes) of General Studies and 200 questions of 200 marks(120 minutes) of the Respective Subject. Total 300 questions of 300 marks
