What is Namo Lakshmi Yojana?

- Completed Classes 1 to 8 under the RTE quota in a recognized private school and enrolled in Class 9.
- Students from other schools whose family annual income is ₹6 lakh or below after completing Class 8 and taking admission in Class 9.

Eligible students can receive a total financial assistance of ₹50,000 during Classes 9 to 12.

- Monthly assistance: ₹500 per month
- Duration: 10 months each academic year

Payment Process
The Gujarat Government will transfer the financial assistance directly through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).

- Money will be credited to the mother’s bank account.
- If the student’s mother is not available, the amount will be deposited into the student’s bank account.
- Schools will register eligible students through the Child Tracking System (CTS) Portal.
- After verification by District Education Officers, eligible students will receive payments through the dedicated Namo Lakshmi Portal.
Important Conditions
Students should note the following conditions :
- Minimum 80% attendance is required to continue receiving monthly benefits.
- Students leaving school before completing their studies will not receive future installments.
- Already received assistance is not required to be refunded.
- Repeat students cannot receive assistance for the same class twice.
- Students who receive scholarships under other government schemes can also avail benefits under this scheme.
- Board examination incentives are paid after successfully passing the respective board examinations.

There is no online self-registration for students. The application process is managed internally by schools through the Child Tracking System (CTS). Here’s the step-by-step process:
