SBI Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2026
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a Graduation degree from a recognized university or institute as on 01 April 2026.
Age Limit (As on 01 April 2026)
Minimum Age – 20 Years, Maximum Age – 28 Years. Candidates must have been born Not later than 01.04.2006, Not earlier than 02.04.1998. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Government rules.
SBI Apprentice Salary 2026
Selected apprentices will receive a fixed stipend of : ₹15,000 Per Month. No additional allowances or benefits will be provided during the apprenticeship period.

Test of local language
The specified local languages of the states are as mentioned in Para A of the advertisement. The candidates applying for training seats of a particular state, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in any one of the specified local languages of that State as mentioned in Para A of the advertisement. The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of selection process. It will be conducted after qualifying the online written examination. Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be engaged for apprentice. Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test. Candidates will have to appear for the test of specified opted local language at a centre (to be decided by the Bank) of the State applied for, at his/her own expenses., the SBI will not reimburse or bear any travelling expenses that may be incurred by the candidate for attending said test.
